A former executive at Beast Industries, the production company founded by YouTube star MrBeast, filed a federal lawsuit Wednesday accusing company leaders of sexual harassment and pregnancy discrimination.

Lorrayne Mavromatis, hired in 2022 as head of the company's Instagram team, filed the suit in the Eastern District Court of North Carolina. The lawsuit names MrBeast's production companies as defendants and alleges the company fostered a widespread culture of demeaning female employees.

According to the complaint, Mavromatis faced unwanted sexual advances and comments about her appearance from male colleagues. The lawsuit specifically names James Warren, the company's former chief executive and cousin of MrBeast—whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson—as having made inappropriate comments about her appearance and attempted to arrange meetings alone with her at his home.

Mavromatis claims she experienced what the lawsuit describes as "intentional infliction of emotional distress" from harassment at the company. She alleges that she and other female employees were demeaned by male colleagues in what the suit characterizes as a toxic, "male-centric workplace."

The lawsuit further alleges that Mavromatis was asked to work during maternity leave and was wrongfully fired just a few weeks after returning from leave. Mavromatis was one of the few women in the executive suite at Beast Industries before her termination.
