Actress Selma Blair was arrested late Sunday after her Delta flight touched down at John F. Kennedy International Airport following a reported inflight disturbance in which she allegedly bit a flight attendant and attempted to open the plane doors.
Law enforcement was called to JFK at approximately 11 p.m. to address a "physically abusive passenger" aboard Delta Airlines flight 938, which had taxied to the gate after flying in from Los Angeles. Blair, 54, was identified as the passenger in question by law enforcement sources.
Two flight attendants were injured during the incident. One of them was evaluated at a hospital, according to law enforcement sources. One flight attendant sustained bite marks, the sources said.
The aircraft had completed its flight from Los Angeles and was at the gate when authorities responded to the disturbance.
