Howard Stern and his wife Beth are being sued by their former executive assistant Leslie Kuhn, who claims they created a hostile work environment at their Southampton mansion in New York.

Kuhn began working for the couple in May 2024 after they asked her to move into their 20,000-square-foot home. According to court documents obtained by Page Six, she was tasked with managing the mansion's staff, including scheduling, completing payroll, and overseeing general household operations. Her responsibilities also encompassed managing Beth's extensive at-home feline rescue and fostering operation.

The lawsuit, filed in New York Supreme Court, alleges that Kuhn was fired in February despite receiving a letter in December 2025 from Howard's production company stating she would receive a raise to $265,000 and an $80,000 bonus in 2026. Kuhn claims her termination resulted from a hostile work environment, immense pressures created by the animal rescue and fostering operations on the property, and what she describes as massively disorganized and questionable business practices.

According to the court documents, Kuhn was required to sign a non-disclosure agreement that forbade her from discussing the couple's business affairs as well as their personal affairs, habits, and preferences. The lawsuit characterizes the rules imposed on household staff as unusually strict and at times deeply personal in nature.

Kuhn worked at the residence for less than two years before her firing. The case was filed in New York Supreme Court over the weekend, according to reports.
