Ken Urker, 33, the fiancé of true-crime figure Gypsy Rose Blanchard, has died. He was found unresponsive Thursday in Louisiana on his birthday, according to TMZ and family sources.
Blanchard texted Urker "Happy Birthday" but did not receive a response. Her brother Dylan later discovered him at the home.
Urker and Blanchard share a daughter, Aurora Raina Urker, who was born in December 2024. The couple had reconnected after Blanchard's split from her ex-husband, Ryan Anderson.
Blanchard and Urker initially became engaged while she was incarcerated. They later broke up, and Blanchard married Anderson. Following her separation from Anderson, she and Urker resumed their relationship.
Blanchard became the subject of a major true-crime case after pleading guilty in 2015 to the second-degree murder of her mother, Clauddine "Dee Dee" Blanchard.
Family sources told TMZ that Gypsy, her family, and Ken's family are in shock following his death. Attempts to reach Gypsy and Ken's family for comment have not yet yielded responses.
