The 26-year-old Norwegian striker was honored for multiple records established over his time in professional football. His name appears on the cover of the 2027 Guinness Book of Records Football edition, reflecting his prominence in the sport since joining English football.
Among the records recognized is Haaland's fastest achievement of 100 Premier League goals. He reached the milestone in just 111 matches, becoming the player to accomplish this feat in the fewest games since his debut with Manchester City.
Haaland also holds the record for the most goals scored by a player in a single UEFA Nations League campaign, with 19 goals. The certificates were presented as the European football season approached its start.
The striker was a standout performer at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, where he scored twice in a match that eliminated Brazil in the round of 16. His recent recognition by Guinness World Records comes ahead of his return to action with Manchester City for the new Premier League season.
One of his most recent record-setting moments occurred on December 2, 2025, when he scored against Fulham to reach the 100-goal milestone in the Premier League.
