England captain Harry Kane is likely to sign a new contract at Bayern Munich despite an enquiry from Barcelona, according to reports Monday.

The 32-year-old striker, whose current deal runs until summer 2027, has informed Barcelona representatives that he is content in Germany and does not intend to discuss his future before the World Cup concludes July 19.

Kane scored 61 goals and registered seven assists in 51 appearances across all competitions during the 2025-26 season. He joined Bayern from Tottenham Hotspur in 2023 and has won two Bundesliga titles with the club.

Barcelona made enquiries regarding Kane's contractual situation, but were told the player is happy in Munich and wishes to remain there. Kane had the option to activate a release clause in his contract this summer, though he would have needed to inform Bayern of the decision in January. He chose not to do so.
