Spain defeated Saudi Arabia 4-0 in a Group H match at the 2026 World Cup on Sunday.
Lamine Yamal opened the scoring in the 10th minute. Álvaro Oyarzabal made a cutting run into the penalty area and sent a pass to the center for Yamal, who finished from close range.
Oyarzabal doubled Spain's lead in the 21st minute. The Spanish forward was quickest to the ball and struck a shot with his left foot past goalkeeper Al-Owais. Laporte provided the assist.
Oyarzabal added a second goal in the 24th minute, completing a brace for the striker.
An own goal by Tambakti in the 49th minute sealed the 4-0 result.
The match was part of Group H, which also includes Cape Verde and Uruguay.
