Israeli soldiers and settlers killed at least 11 Palestinians across Gaza and the occupied West Bank on Tuesday, according to Palestinian officials and local media, in the latest violence during a ceasefire announced in October.

In Gaza, at least seven Palestinians were killed in a series of Israeli attacks. One of the dead was a child who died from injuries sustained days earlier. The Wafa news agency reported that three Palestinians were killed near Khan Younis in southern Gaza, including a man who had recently married. Another Palestinian man was killed on Tuesday in an Israeli operation. Over a 24-hour period, 21 Palestinians were reported injured in Gaza.

In the occupied West Bank, two Palestinians were killed in the village of Al Mughayir on Tuesday when Israeli soldiers and settlers opened fire, according to Palestinian witnesses and local authorities. One of the dead was a child. The shooting occurred near a boys' school in the village.

Palestinian authorities initially said the gunmen were Israeli settlers who had attacked the school. The school's principal and the mayor of the village later said that both settlers and Israeli soldiers had opened fire.

The Israeli military said it had dispatched soldiers to Al Mughayir on Tuesday following a report of rocks being thrown at an Israeli vehicle carrying several people, including a reserve soldier. The military said the reservist exited the vehicle and opened fire at suspects.

The village of Al Mughayir has experienced heightened tensions in recent times over Israeli settlement expansion and violence, according to local sources.
