Drake has released three studio albums Friday, marking his first major musical project since his public feud with Kendrick Lamar escalated in 2024.

The Canadian rapper dropped his ninth studio album, "Iceman," alongside two surprise projects titled "Habibti" and "Maid of Honour." Combined, the three albums contain 43 songs and feature collaborations with artists including Central Cee, 21 Savage, and PARTYNEXTDOOR.

The three albums span different musical styles. "Iceman" focuses on rap and hip-hop, "Habibti" leans toward R&B, while "Maid of Honour" draws inspiration from dance music.

Drake addresses his feud with Lamar on the new record. The beef between the two hip-hop artists began in spring 2024, with both rappers trading a series of vitriolic tracks. The conflict culminated with Lamar's release of "Not Like Us," a song that directly attacked Drake. Following the release, Drake filed a defamation lawsuit against their shared label, which was dismissed. Drake's appeal of the dismissal remains pending.

In hip-hop spaces, Lamar's victory over Drake in the feud is considered undisputed. The new releases represent Drake's return to recording after the highly publicized conflict with one of hip-hop's biggest stars.
