Spanish singer Rosalía interrupted her concert at Milan's Unipol Forum on Wednesday evening, citing illness and inability to continue performing.
The sold-out show, the artist's only Italian date on her Lux Tour, was halted roughly midway through the scheduled performance. Rosalía took the stage approximately 52 minutes late, entering at 21:22 instead of the planned 20:30 start time.
The singer opened with songs including Sexo Violencia y Llantas, Reliquia, Porcelana, and Divinize. She then introduced Mio Cristo Piange Diamanti, speaking in Italian about the song's inspiration, citing Giuseppe Verdi and Giacomo Puccini as sources.
Signs of difficulty emerged shortly after 22:00 during the performance of De Madrugá, when Rosalía appeared visibly fatigued, coughing and showing a marked drop in energy. Despite the visible strain, she attempted to continue performing.
After completing approximately two of the four planned acts, Rosalía addressed the crowd from the stage. "Mi sento male, ci ho provato," she said, telling fans she felt unwell and had tried to push through. She apologized to the audience before leaving the stage.
According to reports, a suspected food poisoning incident prompted the interruption. More than 11,000 fans attended the concert, including several Italian celebrities such as Stefano De Martino, Elodie, Gaia, Levante, and Brenda Lodigiani.
Rosalía had performed at Zurich's Hallenstadion the previous evening as part of the same tour.
