Shania Twain has released "Faded Blue Jeans," a new single featuring Queens of the Stone Age frontman Josh Homme. The track arrived Friday as the final preview of Twain's forthcoming album, "Little Miss Twain," due July 24 via Republic Nashville.

Written solely by Twain, the song draws inspiration from one of her own teenage relationships. The two-and-a-half-minute track features Twain on the verses, with Homme joining in on the bluesy chorus. The lyrics reference faded blue jeans with holes in the knees, evoking memories of youth and first love: "Faded blue jeans, big holes in the knees / Had 'em ever since I was seventeen / Rolling in the grass in 'em, trying to get your hands in 'em / You were so good-looking (Oh), Mama said it was a sin."

Described as a nostalgic, guitar-driven anthem with a rebellious rock-and-blues spirit, "Faded Blue Jeans" captures the intensity of first love and teenage defiance. The song reflects on the unwavering belief that young love could last forever, driven by gritty production and infectious energy that blends Twain's earworm country style with a rock-leaning groove.

"Little Miss Twain" follows Twain's 2023 album "Queen Of Me." The album was previously previewed with the singles "Dirty Rosie" and the title track "Little Miss Twain." A limited-edition picture disc of "Faded Blue Jeans" is available for pre-order through Shania's official store.

Twain recently supported Harry Styles during his 12-night run at London's Wembley Stadium and headlined a one-off concert at Limerick's Thomond Park Stadium in Ireland earlier this week. She currently has no other shows scheduled, though fans can join a waitlist for tour alerts.
