Two men were killed and three others seriously injured Friday evening after a suspected drunk driver crashed into parked cars and struck pedestrians outside a barbershop in Manhattan, according to reports citing police.

The driver, identified by police as 61-year-old Elvin Suarez of Morningside Heights, struck multiple parked vehicles before jumping a curb and hitting people gathered outside the barbershop.

A witness to the incident, David Lawrence, described the scene as a "horror show" and told media outlets that the driver "pinned" one of the men under his vehicle. "It was unsettling, truly unsettling," Lawrence said.

The crash occurred Friday evening in the Upper West Side area of Manhattan. Police are investigating the incident, with charges potentially including manslaughter and vehicular assault.
