Nino Frassica will serve as co-host alongside Carlo Conti on the third night of the 2026 Sanremo Festival, replacing Andrea Pucci, according to reporting by journalist Giuseppe Candela in the weekly magazine Chi.
Frassica, a Sicilian comedian, previously co-hosted the second night of the 2025 edition and has made numerous appearances at the festival in prior years. His selection follows Pucci's withdrawal from the event announced in recent days.
The 76th edition of the Sanremo Festival runs from Tuesday, February 24 through Saturday, February 28, 2026 on Rai 1. Conti has assembled five male co-hosts across the five nights: Can Yaman for the first night, Achille Lauro for the second, Frassica for the third, Lillo for the fourth, and Gianluca Gazzoli for the fifth.
Frassica's appointment represents what sources describe as Conti opting for a proven, established choice to secure the third evening's broadcast. The decision came after Pucci stepped down from his originally announced role as third-night co-host amid media controversy surrounding past statements and sketches deemed inconsistent with current standards.
