Elon Musk's super PAC, America PAC, has disclosed approximately $800,000 in spending to support Republican candidates in the 2026 midterm elections, according to Federal Election Commission filings submitted Wednesday night.
The expenditures, made in August, cover printing costs and indicate the PAC is focused on direct voter outreach. The spending spans House and Senate races across more than a dozen states, including Maine, Michigan, Texas, Ohio, New Hampshire, Iowa and Alaska.
The largest allocation, more than $247,000, went to support Ken Paxton, the Texas attorney general running for Senate as a Republican against Democrat James Talarico. Paxton has been vastly outspent on the airwaves by his Democratic opponent. In recent weeks, America PAC's feed on X has targeted Talarico, arguing that his views are out of touch with Texas voters.
Maine received more than $170,000 in spending, boosting incumbent Republican Senator Susan Collins against Democrat Troy Jackson. Ohio saw $106,000 in spending, supporting incumbent Republican Senator Jon Husted against former Senator Sherrod Brown, a Democrat.
Republican Senate candidates in New Hampshire, Iowa, Michigan and Alaska also received funding from the PAC. Additionally, America PAC allocated several thousand dollars to eight high-stakes House races, supporting Republican Representatives Jen Kiggans of Virginia, Tom Kean Jr. of New Jersey, Mike Lawler of New York, Ryan Mackenzie of Pennsylvania, Scott Perry of Pennsylvania and Derrick Van Orden of Wisconsin. The PAC also backed Boca Raton Mayor Scott Singer, a Republican running for the House in Florida's 25th District.
