The municipal government of Sanremo approved a grant of 500 euros to the Istituto Comprensivo Sanremo Ponente to organize an art and graphic design competition for middle school students in the city.

The contest, titled "La musica e il Festival di Sanremo" (Music and the Sanremo Festival), is aimed at secondary school students in the municipality. Participants are asked to create graphic works that interpret, with personal artistic sensitivity, the relationship between music and the history of the Sanremo Music Festival.

According to the competition rules, prizes will be awarded to the top three finalists. Additionally, seven special mentions will be granted, and 80 selected works will be displayed in a municipal exhibition space, giving recognition to a broad range of student submissions.

The city administration stated that the initiative aims to stimulate creativity among students and strengthen the connection between young people and one of the city's defining cultural elements: music and the tradition of the Sanremo Festival. The decision aligns with the administration's broader objectives regarding youth engagement and cultural promotion.
