Stefano De Martino, conductor and artistic director of the Sanremo Music Festival, said Thursday that Måneskin have already received an invitation to perform at the 2027 edition should the band reunite.
Speaking during a presentation of the new season of the television program "Affari tuoi" at the Mecenate production center in Milan, De Martino addressed recent reports about a possible Måneskin return to the festival. "I don't know if Måneskin will reunite, but I know they are working, and if they should reunite, they already have my invitation to the Ariston," he said, referring to the venue where Sanremo takes place.
De Martino emphasized that no reunion has been formally confirmed. "There is no confirmation yet," he stated, adding that "there is still nothing definite" regarding the band's participation. He said he would personally announce any confirmation once it becomes certain.
The band members—Damiano, Victoria, Thomas, and Ethan—have not publicly announced plans to reunite. De Martino noted that the group is currently working on individual projects.
Regarding guest announcements for Sanremo 2027 more broadly, De Martino cautioned that "there is still nothing certain because it is early." He also noted that not all information circulating about the festival necessarily comes from official sources. "Everything that comes out is not always from us," he said.
Sanremo 2027 is scheduled to take place from February 16 to 20. The selection and confirmation of performers and guests remains ongoing.
