Gotham FC defeated Bay FC 3-0 on Saturday in Harrison in a National Women's Soccer League match.
The home side dominated the first half, scoring all three goals before the interval. Esther González opened the scoring, followed by a second goal from Rose Lavelle in the 39th minute. Lavelle's goal came after a dribbling run by Dudley, who found her unmarked in the box. González added a third goal in the 45th minute from the penalty spot after Moreau fouled Lavelle in the area.
Gotham FC made one substitution at halftime, bringing on Kitahata to replace Reiten. Bay FC made no changes during the first 45 minutes.
The match resumed in the second half with Gotham FC leading 3-0. Eight minutes of stoppage time were played at the end of the first half.
