Tiger Woods was involved in a rollover crash in Jupiter Island, Florida, on Friday afternoon, according to the Martin County Sheriff's Office. The crash occurred just after 2 p.m. local time on Beach Road in the town where Woods lives.

An eyewitness told TMZ Sports that two cars appeared to be involved in the accident and that it did not look as if anyone was seriously injured. The witness said Woods appeared to be okay at the scene. A photo from the scene showed an SUV lying on its driver's side and a flat-bed truck.

No details about the cause of the crash or Woods' condition were immediately released by the sheriff's office. Police are investigating the incident, and a county sheriff was scheduled to speak with reporters at 5 p.m. ET.

The crash came just days after Woods returned to competitive golf. The 50-year-old 15-time major champion competed for the first time in more than a year during Tuesday's TGL Finals, where his Jupiter Links GC team lost to the Los Angeles Golf Club. Woods had been working toward a return to competitive play after rupturing an Achilles tendon in March 2025 and undergoing back surgery in October.

The accident also comes amid speculation that Woods could return to the Masters tournament in Augusta next month, though President Donald Trump stated that was not going to happen.

This crash follows a serious accident Woods was involved in during February 2021, when he suffered significant leg injuries in a one-car crash in Southern California in which the vehicle rolled several times and left him trapped in the car.
