A 30-year-old woman was arrested Sunday after allegedly firing multiple shots at the Beverly Hills home of pop star Rihanna, authorities said.
Los Angeles police responded to reports of gunfire at approximately 1:15 p.m., according to the Los Angeles Police Department. Officers arrived at the scene and took the suspect into custody without further incident.
The suspect fired multiple rounds from inside a vehicle positioned near the property, according to law enforcement sources. At least one bullet penetrated a wall of the home. Some reports indicated approximately 10 shots were fired in the direction of the house and its gate.
Rihanna was home at the time of the shooting, according to the Los Angeles Times and other sources. A source close to the family told the New York Post that "they are all doing okay." No injuries were reported in the incident, according to Los Angeles Police Department officials.
The weapon used in the shooting was recovered by police. It remains unclear whether Rihanna's partner, rapper A$AP Rocky, and their three children were also in the home at the time of the incident.
Authorities have not yet determined a motive for the shooting. The investigation is ongoing.
