Iran offers humanitarian aid to Indonesia after earthquake

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian conveyed condolences to Indonesia on Saturday following a massive earthquake that struck the country's eastern region, resulting in deaths and injuries.

In a message to Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto, Pezeshkian expressed sympathy on behalf of the Iranian government and people to the Indonesian government and people over the loss of life and injuries caused by the earthquake. He extended particular condolences to the families of those killed and affected by the disaster.

Pezeshkian offered humanitarian assistance to Indonesia in response to the earthquake. He stated Iran's readiness to provide emergency and medical aid to support relief efforts.

In his message, Pezeshkian invoked religious sentiments, asking God Almighty to grant mercy and forgiveness to those who died in the earthquake, swift recovery to the injured, and patience to survivors who lost loved ones.
