Eduardo "Skay" Beilinson, the band's historic guitarist and co-founder, posted a brief message on social media expressing his grief. "I carry you in every memory, in every song from yesterday. With immense pain. Safe travels my dear friend, forever. Now you are the light that travels among us and forever," Beilinson wrote alongside a photograph of the two together. He also described the day as "very sad" and signed the post "PR," referencing Patricio Rey, the mythical figure that gave the band its name.
Radio and television broadcaster Mario Pergolini was on air at Vorterix when news of Solari's death began circulating on social media and traditional outlets. Pergolini said he had planned to open his program with music by Los Redondos before learning of the death. "There are no words. We are confirming that Indio Solari has passed away. I am impacted by the news and it goes beyond knowing him. I am impacted because today I said I was going to open with Los Redondos," Pergolini said during his broadcast.
Pergolini described viewing photographs of himself with Solari from various interviews they had conducted together. "We were looking at photos... it almost scared me," he said while the YouTube channel displayed images from their past encounters. He expressed his shock at the timing, noting the coincidence of having selected the band's music for the program's opening.
Gonzalo Bonadeo also expressed his grief alongside Pergolini following the announcement. Multiple figures from Argentine music, journalism, and the arts shared their condolences in the hours following the announcement of Solari's death.
