More than 100 Italian pastry chefs completed the world's longest tiramisu at Chelsea Old Town Hall in London, achieving a Guinness World Record with a dessert measuring 440.58 meters in length.
The creation required two days of intensive, coordinated work. Guinness World Records judges verified every detail of the construction, confirming that the dessert appeared as a single continuous structure without visible interruptions, with junctions perfectly covered by cream and ladyfinger biscuits.
The undertaking consumed substantial quantities of ingredients: 19,000 eggs, two tonnes of mascarpone, 400 kilograms of sugar, and over 128,000 savoiardi biscuits. Master pastry chef Gino Massari validated the recipe, ensuring authenticity and quality standards for the Italian delicacy.
The announcement of the record at Chelsea Old Town Hall was marked by applause and Italian flags, transforming the moment into a collective celebration. The tiramisu, one of Italy's most beloved desserts internationally, was presented as a symbol of Italian culinary excellence.
