FIFA has announced the release of a new batch of tickets for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, with sales beginning Wednesday at 11 a.m. ET through its official ticketing website at fifa.com/tickets.
The ticket drop includes access to all 104 matches scheduled across the tournament, which runs through July 19. Tickets will be available across multiple pricing tiers, including standard categories and select front-row seating, depending on the match.
The release marks the start of FIFA's "Last-Minute Sales Phase," which operates on a first-come, first-served basis. Tickets will be sold in real time according to availability, with buyers able to purchase during the window. FIFA said additional tickets will continue to be released in waves leading up to and throughout the tournament.
In this phase, fans will have access to tickets in categories 1, 2, and 3, as well as front-row seating in some cases. Once inside the ticketing platform, buyers can select seats using a stadium map or opt for the "best available" option to complete their purchase.
FIFA has implemented virtual waiting rooms and digital queues to manage the expected high demand. The system is designed to improve the user experience on the platform as large numbers of fans attempt to purchase tickets simultaneously.
The tournament begins June 11, with the final scheduled for July 19. FIFA stated that ticket sales have remained strong, with significant interest reported across all matches. The organization noted that additional inventory will continue to be made available regularly until the end of the competition.
